Split, Croatia: Sites

Split used to be part of the Roman Empire and the city has grown out
from the old palace. The only way to see the western wall of the place
is to go into people's homes and restaurants because the city was
expanded by just adding three walls onto the existing palace wall.
People still live within and attached to the palace.
