Santorini, Greece: Food

First night in Santorini I went to see the sunset in Oia with Akr, my new Japanese friend I met at my hostel. We grabbed dinner in the town of Fira. I had Moussaka and Akr had the grillled fish, we shared a Greek salad. I like how they do salads in Greece, you dress it with olive oil and vinegar to your tastes.
One day I went to the Santo Winery for a tour and wine tasting. The buy grapes from the 23 vineyards on Santorini. It's a decent size operation and they export around the world but the real highlight is the view from their cafe where you taste the wines.
The two winners from the tasting were the Assyrtico, it's a dry white with citrus and mineral notes, light and refreshing. Visanto a dessert wine with flavors of raisin, honey and spices. It's now my second favorite dessert wine behind Hungarian Tokaji.
